What is passive relaxation?

Passive relaxation is a guided manner of achieving a relaxed state. This is done by focusing on various body parts and breathing types and allowing them to relax.

You don’t need to be anxious to gain benefits from this technique.

What does passive relaxation help. ?

  • Anger management
  • Anxiety attacks
  • Cardiac health
  • Depression
  • General well-being
  • Headache
  • High blood pressure
  • Immune system support
  • Insomnia
  • Pain management
  • Stress management
  • Addiction treatment
  • High blood pressure

  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Dealing with mourning

What If this doesn’t help me relax.

  • Your anxiety may be so high that you are not allowing your body to be relaxed.
  • Vulnerability, you are relaxed you are not defending yourself.
  • You may have anxiety in your muscles

Homework

Do the passive relaxation technique

  • If you have high anxiety I would say twice a day
  • If you have mild I would say once a day
  • If you have no anxiety I would use this at least three times a week.

ZENandTECH 13: Priority one


  • Relaxed

    Thank you! I could actually see the stress going away (it looked like I was going backwards through a blue and black tunnel). Somehow as soon as I was done, I felt a need to pause the show and do pretty much all the homework from previously, so I did, and I still had calm-ness left over from this. This is by far my favorite ZenAndTech.

    Also, for those of you who have trouble remembering to do your homework (or de-stressers, or whatever else you call them), follow my lead: Take the ZenAndTech logo and make it your wallpaper or print it and tape it to your door or wall, just make sure it’s somewhere you can see it often.
