What is passive relaxation?
Passive relaxation is a guided manner of achieving a relaxed state. This is done by focusing on various body parts and breathing types and allowing them to relax.
You don’t need to be anxious to gain benefits from this technique.
What does passive relaxation help. ?
- Anger management
- Anxiety attacks
- Cardiac health
- Depression
- General well-being
- Headache
- High blood pressure
- Immune system support
- Insomnia
- Pain management
- Stress management
- Addiction treatment
- High blood pressure
- Immune system support

- Stress management
- Addiction treatment
- Difficulty sleeping
- Dealing with mourning
What If this doesn’t help me relax.
- Your anxiety may be so high that you are not allowing your body to be relaxed.
- Vulnerability, you are relaxed you are not defending yourself.
- You may have anxiety in your muscles
Homework
Do the passive relaxation technique
- If you have high anxiety I would say twice a day
- If you have mild I would say once a day
- If you have no anxiety I would use this at least three times a week.
